
Sparkling wines
Along with the strong development of the wine industry in Chile, the production of sparkling wines has grown in recent years, and has recieved positive feedback in international markets. Production volumes have increased due to the adoption of new production infrastructures and the use of new technologies. Chilean vineyards are in a permanent search for new varietals or terroirs (which helps the fruit to ripen and provides natural acidity), for the production of high-end base and sparkling wines, as well as new formats with a greater focus on global markets. The final product: excellent sparkling wines that are easy to drink. Behind everything is the efficient management of the vineyards towards natural resources, the protection of biodiversity, along with the constant concern of its impact on the communities, the training, and workers protection. Most vineyards employ sustainable practices.
