Leather and footwear

Leather: Chile has a wide portfolio of tanned animal leathers, with a wet blue finish, finished, and semi-finished alternatives that are used in footwear, bags, and furniture--that come in a wide variety of colors, textures, and designs. Chilean footwear consists of a multitude of signature designs, both innovative and classic. The national footwear industry prioritizes comfort and quality when developing its products. Factories with intermedieate production capacity are limited, however, Chilean artisans create pieces with unique finishes. The largest production is concentrated in women's footwear.
