Dry and dehydrated fruits

In the last few decades Chile has developed its exports of dry and dehydrated fruit and is the top global exporter of dehydrated plums. Chilean fruit products are recognized internationally for their high quality, safety, and sustainable production processes that replace conventional energy with solar. These products are considered superfoods because of their health benefits and are highly valued by consumers around the world. Chile's walnut producers have worked tirelessly to strengthen the industry and increase the commercialization of walnuts; now the challenge centers on increasing exports of almonds, chestnuts, and hazelnuts, and marking a route for fresh marketed products, such as papaya and apricots.
