In the year 2012, Patrick d’Aulan -founder of Alta Vista Winery and raised in a family dedicated to wine production since 150 years- and Didier Debono -a native Burdeos enologist and Chief Enologist of Alta Vista Winery since 2002- founded Altamana Winery in the Maule Region with the sole objective to relive past Malbec vines planted in the last century by the wine industry pioners of the south of Chile. To optimize the care of the vineyard, count Patrick d’Aulan and Didier Debono joined José Manuel Donoso and Laurent Teillet, two renowned wine producers in the Maule Region.
